Crimes/ Escapes
No one escaped because if any one got to close to the fence the guards would kill them on the spot so no one escaped because it was to heavily guarded and they had to chances the escape
What They Had To Eat
They were issued one-quarter of a loaf of bread that had to last them last three days. In the morning,they a cup of roasted barley drink. There was no lunch. At dinnertime, sometimes they got a watery soup with bits of tripe or some salt herring and a boiled potato.
Living Conditions
They were counted three times a day, so they made sure they were all there and none of them dispersed or walked off. they had to stand attention in all kinds of weather no matter what. The prisoners had next to nothing no were We stood wearing next, while while the guards/tormentors had sheepskin coats and felt boots. The prisoners had to sleep in a room with only had a couple beds and was only suppose to hold about 200 people but it held about 1,000-2,000 people in one room.
One time one of the guards had a good laugh when one of them "accidentally" let loose with a machine gun, killing about 30 prisoners.
